Split Solar Hot Water System
A remote tank/panel setup that can be advantageous when double story or difficult roof lines are present.
Before installing a forced circulation system, the following should be considered;
(a) the type and area of collectors to be used (e.g. fl at plate or evacuated tubes)
(b) the heat losses due to longer pipe runs and that pipes will need to be appropriately designed and installed
(c) whether there is access to the system for installation and ongoing maintenance
(d) type of boost required.
